MLB Hat Designs Based Off of Marvel Character's Costumes and Hometowns

I was bored this morning. That's how a lot of things start. I was looking at hats on New Era's website and realized that they have a place where you can design your own hats. Here's the link:  newerabyyou.com As I was going through different teams and designs, I wondered if they had any superhero logos that I could throw on to one of the designs? They did, but it was only Batman and Superman. I wanted more, so I decided to research Marvel hero's hometowns. I didn't have to search long because somebody already put together a full map. New Colorado Rockies Statue?

The Milwaukee Brewers are immortalizing Bob Uecker with a statue at Miller Park, so it got me to wondering...who should the Rockies honor with a statue? As of right now, there's "The Player" at the home plate entrance at Coors Field. "The Player" honors Branch Rickey, who I personally adore, but I think we need to pick either a Rockies' player or manager to bronze next. Colorado Rockies Trade Deadline Targets

The Rockies need some help, especially after the big splash the Arizona Diamondbacks just made ( J.D. Martinez ) and the inevitable upgrades the Dodgers are going to make. But should the Rockies jeopardize their future and make big trades that deplete the farm system? I don't think so. They should be cautious buyers. But there are a few low-risk moves they can make that will improve their club and give them a fighting chance at an NL Wild Card spot. They need a catcher, a veteran starter, a solid relief pitcher and least importantly, a corner outfielder with some pop. Catcher : Kurt Suzuki, Atlanta Braves He'd be a slightly cheaper rental than Alex Avila, and he has been obliterating left-handed pitching this season (wRC+ vs. lefties: 161 ), which he'd see a lot of in the NL West division (LA Dodgers rotation anyone?).
