Colorado Rockies: Week Two

The Rockies can say that they're a .500 team after their nine game homestand. They went 5-4 against division rivals, and improved their record to 6-6 on the season. Week 2 Notes: Jamie Moyer, at the age of 49 years and 150 days, became the oldest pitcher in Major League Baseball history to record a win. He threw seven innings and allowed only one earned run on five hits and one walk. It's a breath of fresh air to see Nicasio pick up where he left off after his very serious injury last season. He's worked very hard and has overcome a lot of physical and emotional pain to be where he is, and I'm glad to see him succeeding so far this season. <p...
