Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for July 6, 2015 (FanDuel and DraftKings)

This is a quick and simple guide to help you find players for your daily fantasy baseball teams.

I give you at least 2 Pitchers, 2 players at each infield position, and 6 Outfield options. I list my top pick first and then descending order from there.

Make sure to check lineups and a player's status before inserting them into your lineup. Also, check weather reports to make sure games aren't postponed. This guide is only here to help pick potentially successful players, and is not guaranteeing you any monetary success.

Pitcher


Chris Sale, White Sox

Blue Jays' players career slash against Chris Sale is .174/.247/.246 with 20 Ks in 69 AB. Sale had a 1.83 ERA in the month of June with 75 Ks in 44 1/3 innings pitched.

Chris Heston, Giants

No-hit the Mets earlier this season. 44Ks in 49 IP at home.

A.J. Burnett, Pirates

1.29 ERA at home this season with a WHIP of 1.13. 


Catcher

Yasmani Grandal, Dodgers

Sean O'Sullivan has given up 10 HRs against Lefties this season in 111 ABs. Lefties have an OPS of 1.154 against him this season. O'Sullivan also has an ERA of 7.57 on the road this season. Grandal's OPS against righties this season is .922. All 12 of his HRs have come off of righties.

Buster Posey, Giants

Career line of .364/.391/.591 against Jonathan Niese. Hitting .315/.390/.515 against righties this season with 12 of his 14 HRs against them.

First Base

Chris Coghlan, Cubs

.571/.600/.643 slash against John Lackey in 14 career at-bats. Has an OPS of .817 against righties this season.

Colorado Rockies' All-Time Greatest Position Players

Here's my attempt to list the greatest Colorado Rockies players of all-time by position. I took into consideration a player's offensive production, defensive capabilities, and tenure with the Rockies. Let's get this Blake Street party started! C, Chris Iannetta Colorado hasn't had a premier Catcher for more than a season or two at a time, but Chris Iannetta finds himself as the Rockies' All-Time greatest catcher based off of his tenure and semi-decent productivity. He leads all Rockies catchers in Hits (336), Home Runs (63), RBI (236), Walks (241), and he's 10th All-Time (any position) in Rockies' history with a .357 OBP. His high On-Base% is due to him being a magnet for pitches, being hit by 40 pitches while with the Rockies.
